Yoga is an excellent way for women who are trying to conceive, pregnant, or postpartum to stretch, tone, and relax their bodies as they make their way to labor and beyond. This community is designed to be a place of support for women who are taking their practice into their pregnancy and for women who have just begun a yoga practice as part of their pre-natal exercise routine.
The asanas (poses) that are suggested for prenatal yoga are very gentle and have been proven not to be a risk to the baby. However, you should always consult with you doctor before beginning any new exercise routine.
